The Dash Store in Miami is a rip-off

As i was soaking in the sun on the busy Miami streets i came across the Dash store. It was easily noticed by the ridiculous  line out front. Since I absolutely love the show Keeping up With the Kardashian i knew what the fuss was all about.  

The process of getting into the store was difficult, you had to wait in the muggy hotness, read and sign a release slip for camera and get your picture taken by security. But once i was inside it was more glamorous then i suspected, although smaller. 

They had very cute clothing and everything but the prices!! 

The average price for a shirt was 400$ and up, a simple beaded bracelet 900$ and a bottle of water saying Dash 10$. The price to get in, priceless.:) 

Do you think they should reduce their prices? 

Btw- I bought the cutest pair of flip-flops and my friend bought a beach towel.

Who is Taylor swift dating! It could be Taylor luatner,Corey Monteith or John Mayer.Pics keep appearing of all through and were all confused. But it’s for you too decide.  

The most recent appearances have been Swift and Mayer together together at the Ritz Hotel in Dallas around March 9. Then
Swift and Mayer were both in Los Angeles this week, again, together together.

she’s been lunching with ex Taylor Lautner and bowling with Glee actor Cory Monteithh.

Swift and Mayer saw each other in January and dated in February, so are they still dating in March?

Its reported that the star from Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kim Kardasian and Footbal ‘player’  Reggie bush have called it quits due to kim’s busy schedule.  

  

But the star isnt the type of girl to forget about everything and sob over gallons of  icecream. She has posted this photo to twitter , saying, “Working on my tan today! What a relaxing day on the boat with my sisters!”  

It looks like she has no problem moving on from her 3 year relationship with Reggie as she parties it up in Miami with her sister, does it?

Justin Bieber has a swagger coach 24/7??

Justin briber was a little boy from a little town that blew up humongous.   

But where would he be without his swagger… nowhere!   

According to E-online  Justin’s mentor, Usher hired Ryan good as titled “road manager”. Although in an interview he calls him his ” swagger coach”   

“He has helped me with my style and just putting different pieces together and being able to layer and stuff like that,” said Bieber of Ryan Good, 24 .He also  goes on to say  he’s taught him ”different swaggerific things to do.”

And by the way other teen sensations do not have a ” Swagger coach”.I guess we will never see the real side of Justin Bieber.   

Does this mean he’s not all about the fans anymore and he’s a fake, money hungry teen?

Kristen Stewart is a drugy!?

After smoking up the box office in the phenomenon “twilight”, starring as Bella. Kristin Stewart gets away and relaxes by kicking it on her stoop and smoking some marijuana.    

It’s obvious the beauty of Kristen Stewart but the awkwardness you see in interviews is sketchy. I would assume that maybe she’s just camera-shy or bad at socializing but after seeing this picture its something else.    

When i saw this i lost all respect for the actor, how she influences the young people that look up too her and how her decisions will influence them. Part of being famous is to be a good example to others but it looks like many young starlets have forgotten this.    

Her sketchy behavior was also noticed by others when she appeared on the David Letterman show were she looked quite out of it. Following a series of easy questions related to her education,Dave asked Kristen what she plans on doing for vacation. Stewart said once she is done with her worldwide press tour for Twilight she plans on driving straight to Russia, but she isn’t sure where she will be leaving from saying, “I’m not sure where we end – London or Berlin – but wherever we end up we’re going to drive to Russia.” Letterman, who has obviously been trying hard to get anything out of Stewart then says, “Well let’s hope Berlin”.    

Should Kristen Stewart go to rehab?

MTV is not music television anymore.. should they change there name?

     

According to http://www.realtvaddict.com/2010/02/09/mtv-drops- music-television-from-logo/, MTV has officially dropped “Music television” from its logo.    

Realtvaddict.com says, “The people who watch it today, they don’t refer to MTV as music television. They don’t have the same emotional connection that, say, the people who are writing about [the logo change] do,” said Tina Exarhos.    

MTV has changed over the years, it isn’t about the music anymore.Reality shows have taken over, such as their Most popular shows, Jersey shore, The hills, Teen mom, Parental control, The buried life ,Made, Cribs, True Life, Making the band, etc.    

The Wrap calls it “a minor change with major symbolism.” I’d have to agree. So why should they keep everybody thinking there a music channel.Why shouldn’t they just rename the programing  to RTV( real TV)…?

Jersey shore is going to be filming in South Beach..?

All of ours favorite show whether you want to admit it or not is full of drama and Guidos (a tan, buff italian).    

Rumor has it that the original guidos are filming a second season in South Beach and have asked producers for more money. They thought of replacments, although if they want to keep the ratings high and our loved guidos,they will have too pay up.    

It is also rumored that the second season of jersey shore will be filmed in south Beach. Movieline is reporting that the second season of the MTV hit “Jersey Shore” will in fact be shot in Miami’s nightclub Mecca. A rep for the network would not confirm.    

.So what are they going to rename the show, “The jersey shore moves to south beach”? com’n will that actually work, and how will the ratings be affected by this change?

James Cameron: Fox didn’t want Avatar’s ‘treehugging crap’

Filmmaker James Cameron has spoken before about how his Avatar is a cautionary environmental tale. In a MTV interview this week, he says Fox wanted to remove its “treehugging crap,” but environmentalists now want to create a curriculum based on it.    

Cameron says he didn’t initially pitch Avatar, which depicts a world of stunning beauty that’s threatened with destruction, as an ecological warning. So Fox Studio executives were taken aback:    

When they read it, they sort of said, ‘Can we take some of this tree-hugging, FernGully crap out of this movie?’ And I said, ‘No, because that’s why I’m making the film.’    

Cameron says Avatar doesn’t provide facts about the planet’s future, but its “eye candy” aims to jostle viewers out of their environmental “denial” and motivate them to work for change.    

Denial is a metal response based on fear… You have to fight an emotional response with an emotional response….    

If you’re tuned in to what’s happening in Avatar, you start to feel a sense of moral outrage when you see the tree fall [destroying the Na'vi's home], and it’s a compassionate response for these people    

Then you feel a sense of uplift at the end as good vanquishes evil. If you put those two things together, it actually creates a ripe emotional matrix for people to want to do something about it.    

Cameron says the film’s had quite an impact so far:    

We’re getting a tremendous amount of feedback from environmental groups, from people with specific causes,” Cameron said, “whether it’s indigenous people being displaced by companies to do mining or to do oil drilling, or if its environmental groups saying, ‘Let’s do some curriculum around Avatar. ‘ “

‘The White Ribbon’ beats ‘Avatar,’ ‘Hurt Locker’ for cinematographers award

Here’s an oddity this awards season: A top movie honor not going to “The Hurt Locker” or “Avatar.”    

This bit of news comes courtesy of the American Society of Cinematographers, which gave its feature film prize to “The White Ribbon” and cinematographer Christian Berger. The black-and-white German film, directed by Michael Haneke, is an Oscar nominee for cinematography and for best foreign-language film.    

“The White Ribbon” beat out “Avatar” and “The Hurt Locker,” as well as “Inglourious Basterds” and “Nine,” to win the feature film prize at the ASC’s 24th annual awards Saturday night (Feb. 27).

Brighton Beach sounds like the first entrant. Though it doesn’t have a network, the show’s creators are already casting. And based on what they told the NY Post today, it sounds like they’re sticking close to the script of gross ethnic stereotypes behaving badly next to the surf. “There will be plenty of vodka, techno music and guys wearing Adidas pants, leather jackets and gold chains, and driving souped-up cars. There will also be a lot of hot, decked-out Russian girls,” Elina Miller, the show co-creator says.    

Accident is the cause of death for Brittany Murphy

Self medication is what killed her and it happened shockingly fast, how can our country inform people of how dangerous and easy it is to self medicate and hurt yourself?

The list of drugs in Brittany Murphy’s system when she died have been released by the L.A. County Coroner’s office today, and it’s not a pretty picture.    

According to the report, “Multiple medications were present in the blood, with elevated levels of hydrocodone, acetaminophen, and chlorpheniramine.”    

“L-methamphetamine was also present.”    

The report says, “It should be noted that the pattern of use of these medications suggest treatment of symptoms of a cold or other respiratory infection.”    

“Acetaminophen and hydrocodone are components of Vicodin. Chlorpheniramine is considered an active ingredient in some over-the-counter medications.”    

“L-methamphetamine is a component of some inhalers.”    

The Coroner believes that Brittany had pneumonia and tried self-medicating with prescriptions and over-the-counter drugs … and it ultimately proved fatal.    

The report notes that “Possible adverse physiological effects of elevated levels from these medications cannot be discounted, especially in a weakened state.”    

“Therefore the manner of death is Accident.”

Employees wept and audience members grew silent at SeaWorld as the theme park’s popular killer whale show resumed over the weekend with a photo montage memorial for a trainer who had been killed days earlier by an orca in front of horrified spectators.    

The show had been shut down since the trainer, Dawn Brancheau, died Wednesday after a 12,000-pound, or 5,400- kilogram, killer whale named Tilikum grabbed her and pulled her into the water in front of about 20 spectators. The medical examiner says she probably died of traumatic injuries and drowning.    

The whale trainers received a standing ovation Saturday from the crowd of more than 2,000. But the trainers did not enter the water. SeaWorld officials have said trainers would not swim with the orcas until a review of what happened to Ms. Brancheau is complete.    

The SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment president, Jim Atchison, has said that Tilikum would remain an ‘‘active, contributing member of the team.’’ But the whale did not perform Saturday.
